Nepenthes Palwanensis Growing Conditions:

Daytime High's:

78-82 degrees
75-88% humidity

Nightly Low's:

55-65 degrees
82-99% humidity

Soil :

We use long fiber sphagnum with a decent amount of kanuma and perlite mixed in.  From our experience N. palawanensis likes highly acidic, wet soil that has good drainage.  It has become very clear to us that the species prefers ultramafic soils with live moss growing on top.  Seedlings that were transplanted into pots without living sphagnum grew dramatically slower than ones with a healthy layer of moss.

Little gem

Just arrived yesterday afternoon; packaged well, & healthy. VERY small, but off to a great start, already with a pitcher. Looking forward to watching it grow!
