Byblis Linaflora Growing Information :
Growing most varieties of Byblis is considered slightly difficult but if you are familiar with growing other carnivorous plants then Byblis should not be considered hard to grow. They have a rather easy temperature/humidity require and watering is simple.
Soil and Pot : We use nearly 100% peatmoss with a touch of silica sand or perlite which is not required but makes transplanting them easier. The soil depth can be as shallow as 1.5" as the root system is very shallow. With such shallow pots, Linaflora can be considered very tolerant of wet conditions therefore therefore the tray method of growing is used. We typically use 3" deep pots to make watering easier.
Temperature and Humidity : Byblis Linaflora can tolerate a wide range of temperatures and humidities, however we recommend that conditions are kept similar to our conditions. These are relatively forgiving so a few days or week of immediate change will not kill them but they are a fast growing plant and if conditions are kept similar to ours below then yours should thrive.
